Formula Yoga (For Runners) Class
Formula Yoga class is a perfect addition to the complete training experience for runners. These classes are designed to assist with recovery and injury prevention. The focus of our yoga classes is flexibility, range of motion and core strength. Yoga is also great for providing a sense of calmness and concentration to allow members to properly recover both mentally and physically.
Where cardio meets yoga using free hand weights with yoga sequences to intensify each pose for a full body class. The bursts of cardio and the addition of weights spike the heart rate and bring back down to burn fat, strengthen your core, and help you learn to control breathing.
Formula Mobility class is a 45 minute class focuses on mobility, how we move through range of motion. Not to be confused with flexibility (stretching the length of the muscle). Did you know that limited range of motion can inhibit the body’s ability to move through a full gait cycle? Limited range of motion reduces the amount of power you can produce in your run and displace force leading to imbalances. In this class you will work through a range of motion movements opening up areas such as the hips, shoulders, knees and ankles. This total body class is a great supplement to your running program and will help you run longer, faster!
